You might remember when we were talking about the aftermath of the first Battle of Uji there was a giant of a warrior monk who wore two suits of armor as well. Which is weird, but not the first time I’ve heard of that. He supposedly had a habit of wearing two suits of armor, one on top of the other, earning him the nickname Ni-ryo Gusoku or Two Collar Armor. Sukenao was a bit of a strange fellow in his own right, it seems. Historical records seem to have differing accounts on who founded the school – Sukenao or his grandfather Sukehide – but they all seem to agree that Sukehide laid the framework that Sukenao built upon. He had trained with his grandfather in what was to become known as the Inatomi-ryu school of Gunnery Martial Arts. Now you see, Sukenao was the third generation cannon-maker. With Tango province being handed over to the Hosokawa the Inatomi family became Hosokawa vassals. When the Hosokawa family conquered the Isshiki in 1578, Sukenao would have been 26 years old. The Inatomi were hereditary vassals of the Isshiki clan of Tango province. Sukehide also formed a foundry specializing in casting firearms, and particularly large ones that we commonly refer to as…cannon. Sukehide was said to have trained in gunnery arts with Sasaki Yoshikuni and developed a unique style of gunnery tactics. Sukenao was the son of a no-name samurai named Inatomi Naohide, but that made him the grandson of Inatomi Sukehide. It have the best original story, have you ever seen in any other video game Nobunaga portayed not as the evil devil king?įor the memorable characters, I suggest you first to play the game and then speak.Sukenao was born near the capital city of Kyoto in 1552 and would have matured into adulthood in the late 1560s, which was about the time when Oda Nobunaga made his way into that region. Well, Kessen 3 is also story of Nobunaga and Mitsuhide with different viewpoints. You claiming Kessen 2 have best scenario because “it’s the story of Liu Bei and Cao Cao with different viewpoints”. There is also war council before every battle where you choose who to deploy for the fight, give them orders, change your equipment etc. Kessen 3 is far more then just “push square multiple times”. And there a lot more other useful skills, including War Cry. It does have elemental attacks like freeze, fire, water, lightning etc, just look at the skill tree picture in my post. Kessen II is the best game Koei ever made.ĭude have you even played Kessen 3? I understand that you are the big Kessen 2 nerd, but at least check your information about the game you talking about. For Liu Bei (Mei Sanniang, Zhuge Liang, Sun Li.), for Cao Cao (Himiko, Yu Jin, Cheng Yu.) while Kessen III even if the other characters are good is far more forgetable. Kessen II is about the story of Liu Bei AND Cao Cao with different viewpoints on the story, just marvelous.Ĭharacters: Kessen II have by far more colorful and memorable characters in each camps. Scenario: While Kessen III is Nobunaga fest (along with best version of Mitsuhide). In any case give you some impact on the battle to come. War council: Also removed, In Kessen II for each battle you have different strategies to use some are very useful while other not so much. Gameplay: Most obvious, in Kessen II you use storm, ice, lightning every elements along with charge, raid, warcry to change the battle while in Kessen III you just push square multiple times. Since some of you think Kessen III would be superior (or just hate Kessen II) I will give reasons as to why Kessen II is by FAR superior to III: If your post randomly disappeared, it's probably because it has already been posted.
